June 2017 - Draft 1 (posted 5/30/2017)

July Availability Worksheet - in EXCEL and PDF

Hello Aquatics Team!

It’s availability time again.  Please fill out the availability worksheet posted at www.swimrichmond.org/lifeguard-schedule.htm  and return ASAP.  I have attached them here as well for your convenience.

July is going to be a key month for the summer, particularly the week of July 24th through the 30th.   We have added the JRAC Championships this year, which will bring us up to hosting 4 of the summer leagues in the Greater Richmond Area!  Since that week will be very heavily staffed, I will ask that every lifeguard look very critically look at your schedules and provide some multiple options for hours that week.  I will do my best to assign you to preferred shifts, but this may not always be possible with all facets of the schedule considered.  Otherwise, the month has no meets and weekends will be relatively low key.

On Sunday, 7/23 we may have a large team come in to set up for the champs week.  This will likely be a 3 hour shift, give or take, where we get everything jumpstarted for the week.  IF you are interested, the box is there on the availability worksheet.

Please note the deadlines for scheduling below and help this month go smoothly by submitting your availability ASAP and within the due date.  Please do not forget to fill in your name and preferred # of shifts at the top.  Please also write date and time of submission if you turn this in by paper at my desk. Again, there is a quick turnaround, so please be on your game.  I will be creating the schedule on the same day that availability is due, so you all will need to be sure to have this in to me to not delay the release of the schedule.
